Sanford-Burnham Medical Research Institute is a non-profit medical research institute with locations in La Jolla, California, Orlando, Florida, and Santa Barbara, California. Scientists at Sanford-Burnham work on fundamental molecular causes of diseases, with research focused on cancer, neuroscience, stem cells, diabetes, and obesity.
McCulley Design Lab was engaged by Sanford-Burnham to design a new brand identity and to create a variety of multi-media exhibits throughout the La Jolla campus that articulated the Institute’s rich history and breakthrough discoveries. The scope of work included logo and identity design, collateral design, donor wall design, signage and wayfinding design, outdoor banner design and multi-media exhibitory.
