San Diego Regional Economic Development Corporation (EDC) is a local non-profit organization that works directly with businesses, civic leaders, and government groups to maximize the region’s economic prosperity and global competitiveness.
McCulley Design lab was engaged to design EDC’s new headquarters located in the ever-evolving East Village, in downtown San Diego. Our workplace design renovation included space planning, interior design brand activation and integration, custom furnishings and procurement, art curation, supergraphics, wall murals, décor, paint schemes, and the activation of common areas.
We designed colorful supergraphics and custom artwork that both evoke their brand and pay homage to the company’s mission. A new Vestaboard messaging display allows team members to highlight accomplishments, share recipes, jokes, and favorite quotes! We sourced custom, brand-centric artwork for key communal areas. Our integration of a vibrant yet calming color palette creates a welcoming, calming environment, and collaboration areas are activated with bright energetic colors in an effort to promote positive energy and focus.
