The founders of Benchmark Insurance approached McCulley Design Lab to help bring their dynamic personality and playful culture to life within the walls of their Carlsbad, California headquarters. Their goal was to further differentiate themselves from the staid, conservative vibe normally seen in the insurance industry. The first point of contact at Benchmark Insurance is a fully functional espresso bar where visitors and employees are encouraged to sit and enjoy a beverage while waiting, working or meeting. Additional meeting rooms and gathering areas in the space encourage interaction, community and socialization.
